This pump features a patented air-cooled heat sink that allows the pump to run dry without damaging the shaft seal and a pump flap that allows for full flow through the strainer basket when the pump is running but restricts reverse flow into the system when the pump is turned off. An exclusive double Ring-Lok design provides for a "tool-free" access to the strainer basket.
